Can I book Sylvan Beach Pavilion for more than 5 hours?
Yes, you absolutely can! The cost for each additional hour is $350.
Do I have to use vendors that are only on your preferred vendor list?
No, although we strongly recommend that you do. Our vendors have been prescreened and approved to be used within our facility. Any vendor you choose to use outside our list must first be approved and verified by management. Please see guidelines for becoming a preferred caterer on the preferred vendor page.
I have more than 300 guest, what would be the price to add more?
For each additional 100 guest we charge $500. That includes the extra tables, chairs, setup and cleanup. Any additional upgrades will be charged accordingly.
What is your alcohol policy? Do you have a liquor license?
Yes we do have a liquor license and all alcoholic beverages must be purchased and consumed within the facility. No alcoholic beverages can come in and nothing goes out.
How early can I get into the venue to setup?
We give you an additional 2 hours before your event to setup.
What’s the maximum number of guest you can accommodate?
Our occupancy, according to the fire marshal, is 1,000. However, we can seat approximately 600-700 guest comfortably in our main ballroom area. We do have an additional room (cocktail lounge) as well as a deck/patio area where we could accommodate more guest if necessary.
Is there a space for me to get ready?
Yes! We have a bridal suit/changing room just for you that is conveniently adjacent to a very spacious washroom.
Will our guest have to pay to park?
Absolutely not! Our facility has ample parking on both sides of the venue, always available free of charge.
Is the facility and bathrooms handicap accessible?
Yes, we have handicap access throughout our entire facility.
Can I have my ceremony at your facility?
Yes! We have options for you to choose from; say your vowels on our deck overlooking the water, on the beach, in the park gazebo or inside our lovely pavilion.
What is the cost to have my ceremony at the pavilion? Do I receive extra time?
Starting cost for an onsite ceremony is $500. Which includes an additional hour along with setup for 150 guest. The minister is not included.
